Sharif Blames India For Islamabad Blast
Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has blamed India for the deadly blast that rocked Islamabad, even though the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has publicly claimed responsibility for the attack.
The suicide bombing, which k*lled 12 people and injured several others, was one of the deadliest strikes in the capital in recent months. The TTP, a banned militant outfit responsible for multiple past attacks in Pakistan, said it carried out the bombing in retaliation for security operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Despite this claim, PM Sharif accused India of orchestrating the violence, calling it an “attempt to destabilize Pakistan.” His remarks have sparked sharp criticism at home and abroad, with analysts questioning the government’s attempt to deflect blame from internal security failures.
